Something like this is my first guess for an Enhaement build. It's similar to what jmfmb suggested, but the main differee is I've takenall of Flame instead of Stat Shk. I justan't see Stat Shk adding up to anything signifant, whereasall of Flame buffs Lavaburst, whh we will no doubt be using at every opportunity. If the tk damage from flame shk really isn't worth it though flame shk rank 1 should still work and weould do without talents. The point of Lava Burst I think is to help us move away from our reliae on so mhrit to be effient, i think this was meant to help us gear for haste and be able to ale more properly. If this spell rotation is not good then that means enhaement shaman will get more use of thisombo with maelstrom weapon in pve and that's just wrong. Sure, that pie has +hit, but if the other stats are better than what I'murrently wearing? I go for it. If it'll help me heal better, then I go for (though truth be told, I've started running mostly as DPS bause of flk that I've gotten from one very nasty group). I still find haste useful for the times that I'm NOTasting PW:S, renew, or Penae. Normally, those times I have to rely on 'filler'(i.e. flash heal) and lessastime is defiantly a good thing then. Granted, I got lky and I was the shmk in the group with the worst on the the PuGs and got the things no one else wanted ( or got lky and rolled high on my tier 7.5 shoulders, I love the wings!). Now I'm one of the best people in my guild (we're doing Naxx 10 tonight and have no planned Naxx 25, just to let you know who 'l33t' we all ...

Yes, and from range. You aim it like you would with blizzard.well i LOVE my water elemental, especially when you have the improved water elemental talent. It's nice because although it doesn't do all that much damage by itself, (at level 80 mine usually does about 1100-1200 damage per waterbolt) it is still nice for boss fights because it restores a decent amount of mana to you and everyone around you. It's also great for soloing because of its ranged frost nova. One of my favorite things to do is to get at max range from a few mobs and hit them with my pet's frost nova and then immediately start hammering away with blizzard. If by chance they survive long enough to get close to me, (which is rare) that still leaves me with my own frost nova to pop. Granted this isn't the most mana-efficient way to take down mobs but gosh it's just so much fun!Sorry, i have one last question: can the water elementals "waterbolt" freeze targets like frostbolt?No. Your frostbolts can only freeze people if you've put talent points...

my main strategy will involve Ice Barrier, Icy Veins, Blizzard three times, charge in and waste what's left my mana on AE.
I know this is really only viable in situations like mass players within 10 yards, but I usually see that in most BGs I'm in anyway.

Mage tier 8 suit is a joke2009-04-07 00:00:00I mean come on if you look at the Paladins, Death Knights, Hunters, warlocks, shamans, Warriors, Rogues, and priests the mages tier 8 look is so damn bland!.... atleast we have another utility to bring to a raid now i'll be know to conjure my food, spread my intellect, Remove a curse occasionally, and now with my tier 8 shoulders I'll have 2 fucking lamps on my shoulders to keep the room bright for other classes armor to shine!In general all of the WotlK Mage gear looks awful. I'm not sure what the designers were thinking, but it seems that they want to make everything artsy and frilly.
